Jamie Hooper worked as a freelance filmmaker for over ten years, directing, filming and editing. He now works as a video editor for a global tech company and continues to write and direct in his spare time. Jamie’s short films have screened at some of the biggest genre festivals in the world, winning numerous awards in the process. The Creeping is his feature debut as writer/director/producer.

Since he was seven years old Jonathan Straiton has known that he wanted to tell stories, whether as an actor, a writer or a director. Throughout his early years he performed with various theatre companies throughout Virginia and made several short films using his mother’s VHS Camera. He made his first short film at the age of 8 titled “The Shape Shifter from Outer Space”. In 1998, Straiton attended the New York Film Academy to study in Paris, France. There, he shot three sixteen millimeter films and confirmed his passion for filmmaking. He returned home to Middlesex Virginia eager to make a movie and wrote his first feature “Killbiz”, a dark comedy about two unlikely hit-men who find themselves in the ultimate double cross. Over the next 2 years he produced three feature length films that could be rented at local Middlesex video stores. In 2000 Straiton left Middlesex and attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco, California, where he began honing his skills as a screenwriter. Constantly searching for inspiration for a story, he stumbled upon what had always been right in front of him- his hometown….”Big Fish in Middlesex” was born, the story of the trials and tribulations of growing up in a small country town. Even Hurricane Isabel couldn’t stop him from making that movie. “Big Fish in Middlesex” premiered in March of 2006 and went on to win nine awards including Best Feature at the Myrtle Beach Film Festival 2006. “Big Fish in Middlesex” went on to be White Lightning Productions first major release by a studio. He followed up with the crime thriller “Blood Red Presidents” (aka “The Two Plates”) which was released nationwide in Walmart and Redbox. Jonathan returned to his horror roots with “Night of Something Strange” which splattered on the horror scene as Fangoria’s Best of 2016. He has gone on to produce several feature films and “Johnny Z” marks his latest passion project.

Scott Slone is an award-winning American Filmmaker born in Missoula, Montana. He has lived in Missouri, Maryland, South Carolina and Florida before moving to Los Angeles in 2001. A year later, Scott wrote and directed his first short film entitled, Old Man Music. The film starred legendary character actor Geoffrey Lewis and went on to win multiple awards in the festival circuit. Since then, Scott has written and directed multiple short films as well as the documentary 2001: An EDM Odyssey , and the feature film Malibu Horror Story. Attributes filmmakers Kinji Fukasaku, Sergio Leone, Stanley Kubrick and Elia Kazan as primary influences, as well as modern day filmmakers Michael Mann and David Lynch. His favorite actor is William Holden and his favorite actress is Natalie Wood.

Christopher G. Moore is the director of award-winning short films such as KNOB GOBLINS, BACKWARD CREEP, GUT PUNCHED, DISENGAGED, and FOODIE. He is currently working on the feature version of BACKWARD CREEP. Jeremy Herbert is a filmmaker and published author. He has directed the “Things Trilogy” containing THE THINGS WITH THE GLOWING GREEN EYES, THE THING ABOUT BEECHER’S GATE, and THE CHILDISH THING. John Hale III is a director and visual FX artist and has made short films filled with killer creatures, including THE CONDUIT and segments from the feature films 13 SLAYS TILL XMAS and 10/31 PART 2. He is currently working on his first full-length feature film, TRUCKSQUATCH.

John is an Academy Nicholl Fellowship Semi-Finalist who’s first feature was the horror/comedy JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER. His screenplay was nominated for a Fangoria Chainsaw Award and the film premiered at Sitges International Film Festival where it won Best Midnight Film before screening at Fantasia and selling to Anchor Bay at Slamdance. In 2014 John directed his first feature from a script he wrote, the award winning THE SUBLET. It premiered at Whistler Film Festival and won the awards for Best Actress and Best Cinematography at Blood in the Snow Film Festival in Toronto. In 2021 he wrote and directed on two anthology series for Executive Producer Eli Roth as well as writing and directing his sophomore feature, DO NOT DISTURB for which he also served as composer.
