The founder of Digital Thunderdome, Scott Hansen is a screenwriter & filmmaker from Virginia Beach, VA. He is widely known for directing the award winning film called Bad Candy” (2021) starring Corey Taylor from the band “Slipknot” and Zach Galligan the star of Gremlins which won 32 best picture awards and over 72 more awards on its festival run. In 2016, he created The Possession Experiment which sold to Eone/Momentum Pictures for domestic and CMG for international distribution and was sold to 35 countries abroad. It also debuted in the top 10 in horror on iTunes for three weeks upon it’s release. Scott also worked on Scott Glenn and Jim Gaffigan’s new movie called “Eugene the Marine”. Scott’s most recent highly anticipated film that he directed called “DEVOUR” arrives in theaters in October. Also in 2025 Scott and his team take on the survival hiking horror movie called “The Quiet Zone” to be shot in Georgia as well as producing “Bloodletting” , a horror western to be shot in Canada.

Stephen King Simmons 41 years young. Born and raised in SLC, Utah. At age 12, instead of lemonade stands, he was creating haunted houses out of his parent’s basement. In 2005, founded a local cult hit multi-art horror show titled “An October Evening”. He has gained a cult following on Youtube with his adaptations of “SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK”. His favorite hobbies are ghost hunting, collecting macabre memorabilia and watching old black/white silent films. “THE PARKER SESSIONS” (Bayview Entertainment) is his first feature film which had it’s world premiere at HorrorHound and International premiere at FrightFest. “THE PARKER SESSIONS” won several awards in the film festival circuit. Including Best Feature, Writing and Sound Design.

At the age of 10, Aurelio Voltaire bought a super 8 camera and taught himself the art of stop-motion animation. At 17, he ran away from home to New York City where by 18, he had become an award-winning animator and director working on station IDs for MTV and national spots for international brands. Through his stop-motion short films, Aurelio Voltaire was able to explore his more fantastic, monster-filled visions, each narrated by a singer he admired including Danny Elfman, Gerard Way, Blondie front-woman Deborah Harry, Psychedelic Furs frontman, Richard Butler and new wave pioneer, Gary Numan. These five shorts earned Voltaire 35 film festival awards. After achieving success as an internationally touring recording artist and author, Aurelio Voltaire has circled back around to his original passion to make his first feature length creature feature with co-director, Jeff Ferrell. Jeff Ferrell is a filmmaker, actor and musician. He has made three feature films as writer/director: Ghostlight, Dead West (which was picked up by RLJ Entertainment and Netflix) and Holiday Hell, a horror anthology starring Re-Animator’s Jeffrey Combs. The Demonatrix is Jeff and Aurelio’s first feature film as co-writers, co-directors and co-stars, and has been 10 years in the making.

Lauren Robyn is making her feature film debut with Wait ‘Til Dawn. She is an actor and director with a keen eye and meticulous attention to detail who takes inspiration from the works of Ari Aster, Mike Flanagan, and John Carpenter.

Co-Director Bio:

New York City Horror Film Festival alums, Gregory Van Voorhis and Nicole Van Voorhis, are a sibling co-directing duo from hell. Or New Jersey. With a last name so similar to the Friday the 13^th horror icon, it’s in their blood!

Gregory’s love for horror started at the ripe old age of 4, when a babysitter introduced him to horror movie classics from the 70s. As Gregory moved into his teen years, this love then grew to include literature as his bookshelves were littered with a myriad of Stephen King novels. It was his eventual affinity for Greek mythology and Dante’s Inferno that lead to the birth of what would eventually become the feature film, The Pitchfork Retreat, his first horror feature film.

While an admirer of every genre, Nicole Van Voorhis (actress, writer, and director) is drawn to the complexity of horror as the thrill of entering the dark offers a heightened sense of being alive. She loves delving into characters that are consumed by chaos, whether in trying to flee it or by maniacally trying to cause it. It gives her the opportunity to dive into a world where creatures of all kinds roam about, whether hidden or not.
